Everyone is always welcome at our pharmacies! The pharmacy team at Express Aid has undergone training with The Gilbert Centre to better understand the community and provide improved quality care. We provide a safe, comfortable, and more private environment.
We support general health and wellness focussing on improving conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. But we also appreciate there are specialized areas of care for members of the LGTBQ+ community. This includes transitioning and sexual health. See below for more info on how we serve diverse communities and some helpful resources.

Gay/Bi/MSM Health
Our pharmacists are highly knowledgeable on medication relating to men's sexual health. With ongoing continuing education and specialized services to ensure the best patient experience.
Services include: thorough counselling and guidance on HIV medications, helping you navigate drug coverage options, and supporting HIV prevention strategies. To help with this we have a section on PrEP and PEP on our website. If you are not familiar with what those are it is a great quick resource. We are also available by phone or email!
The pharmacy is proud to support the most recent science of U=U. This means that undetectable = untransmittable. An HIV-positive individual who is adherent to their medication and is consistently undetectable via lab work will not transmit HIV to a partner.
We always carry PrEP and PEP in the pharmacies and offer free delivery for them anywhere in Ontario. We also offer after hours PEP access and can carry your required medication regularly.

Trans Health
We want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable when they come into our doors. This includes ensuring you are addressed with the appropriate pronoun to providing confidential services in our completely private counselling rooms.
Our pharmacists are familiar with MTF and FTM transition protocols as well as coverage options for medications. We maintain regular inventories of medication when requested as well as any necessary supplies such as syringes.
We hope to continue to support trans awareness and understanding in the community.
Lesbian Health
Up to 30% of lesbians have reported receiving unfriendly treatment from healthcare providers at some time. We think this is wrong and want to ensure everyone gets the care they deserve regardless of sexual orientation (or gender identity).
Health and wellness is a universal concern we all share. Express Aid Pharmacy provides many services to help support this. This includes smoking cessation services, in-depth medication reviews, health and wellness events, pharmacist authorized refills, free delivery, and discounted vaccination services. We also offer a wide selection of health and wellness products as well as everyday essentials at our pharmacies.
